Congo? Isn't that a musical instrument? And a country?

Recently, I have heard a new expression. It's called "Congo!!".....Its supposed to be short for 'congratulations'. I used to think congrats was short for congratulations..... but that's me. Then someone told me congo was used as a combination (some ppl say combi for combination.....yuk!!!! i think combo is better)of congrats and cool. Soemthing like this, "I got a new job",..."Congo!". Yikes.... its the most ghatiest slang i have ever heard.
Congo is infact a musical instrument.... similar to drums. Also, there is a country named congo, or republic of congo or something.....
